Every address says what it is
A portal name ends in its namespace, and the namespace sets the rules: who may register, what is checked, which certificate the name receives, and whether it comes to you or you go to it.

Three steps to a live identity
- Search and registerFind the name across every namespace and register it. An avatar is your own identity, verified first; a character is designed through its questionnaire.
- Receive its certificate of birthYour browser makes the name's own key and Jubilee signs its certificate of birth. A character is born from its Character DNA; an avatar receives a verified identity certificate.
- Activate itSign the records it needs, such as its persona and its endpoint, then activate it. It comes to people wherever they are, at activate://.
